Diana Ketler's solo and chamber music career has brought her to perform at the world renowned music venues, such as Wigmore Hall in London, Musiekverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, Carnegie Hall in New York, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Atheneum in Bucharest, Prinzregententheater in Munich and La Fenice in Venice, among many others.
Diana Ketler has appeared in many prestigious music festivals, including Lucerne Festival, Wiener Festwochen, Rheingau Musik Festival, Gstaat and Spoletto. She is the Artistic Director of two international music festivals – SoNoRo Festival in Romania and Italy and Chiemgauer Musikfrühling in Bavaria.
Diana has collaborated with many composers, among others Pēteris Vasks, Santa Ratniece, Györgi Ligeti. Arvo Pärt, Franco Donatoni, Dan Dediu and Marcelo Nisnman.
She is a co-founder of Ensemble Raro – one of the most exciting chamber music groups in Europe. They have recorded a number of highly critically acclaimed CDs, which were co-produced by Solo Musica in Munich and Bavarian Broadcasting, BR.
Since 2003 Diana is a Professor of Piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She has given master classes in Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Germany, Austria, Romania, Norway and Latvia.
Diana Ketler is recipient of the Grand Music Award, the highest distinction given to Latvian musicians.
